Jessie Lee Walts King Hutsonpillar Farris Young, 58, passed
away Thursday, June 13, 2002 at a local hospital. Funeral services will be
held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 17 at Connally Compton Funeral Directors Chapel
with Deacon Sam Robinson officiating, assisted by the Rev. Gene Grace.
Private interment will follow at Criswell Cemetery. The family will
receive visitors at the funeral from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
Jessie was born Oct. 16, 1943, in Waco, to Jesse and Eleanora
Ellis Walts. She was a homemaker, mother and grandmother. Jessie was
known for enjoying her life to the fullest and will be remembered with love by
family and friends.
She is survived by three daughters, Karen Annette
Butler and husband, John, Pamela King Chavez and husband, Steve, and Kenna Kay
Horton and husband, Robert; two sons, David Keith Hutsonpillar, Jr. and
Christopher Scott (Scotty) Farris; five grandchildren, Amanda Michelle
Hutsonpillar, Jessika Lynn Horton, Alexandria Lee Horton, Robert Bailey Horton
and Jarred Thomas Butler; two sisters, Grace Roderick and Deborah Robinson;
three brothers, James Walts, Michael Walts and Kenneth Walts; as well as her
longtime friend Gwen Twendell and a special aunt, Polly McCaleb.
