KILLED BY SPIDER BITE.

       Mexia, Tex., Aug. 22.--Dick, the little 8-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. John L. Wortham, died today at 11 o'clock from the effect of a spider bite under the right arm.  He with his elder brother was cleaning out the barn for their father, when the spider got in his clothing.  He was bitten about 2 o'clock yesterday.
