Biographical.
David B. Wolfe who, died here Sept. 20, known as Waldrop, was born in Sullivan
county, Mo., the son of David T. and Elizabeth K. Wolfe, and was of German
extraction. He spent his early life in the far west, teaching physical
culture and the art of self-defense. He became disabled at Seattle,
Washington, and abandoned this work and engaged in light carpenter work.
He travelled in many states and by the merest accident found his brother,
Charles, at Crosby about ten years ago. His health failing, he went to New
Mexico in 1902. From there he came to Texas, remained some time at
Abilene, coming to Perry last January. From Perry he went to Robertson
