-----
Sadie Wallace, a young negress, is in the county jail on a charge of killing her
husband. The killing occurred near Mooreville Wednesday.
Sim Wallace, the husband of the woman, was
in the field at work and Sadie took a pistol and going out there killed him
instantly.
She was brought to Marlin and lodged in
jail. The only reason she gives for the act is that family troubles caused
it. She declines to say any other statement.
She is a young looking woman of average
intelligence.
