PROF. A. D. Wallace, long a well-known teacher in Falls county and a veteran of
the civil war, died in the Confederate at Austin Sunday night at 12:30.
The remains arrived on the northbound I. & G. N. train Monday afternoon at 4:52
and interment was made in the Marlin cemetery with services at the grave.
Deceased leaves a wife and one sister, who lives in Douglas, Arizona. He was an
Uncle of Mrs. A. D. Barrow of Marlin. Mrs. Wallace was with her husband in
Austin. They have no children.
