MUREL M. WALKER
June 2, 1935 - March 17, 2005

      Murel M. "Margie" Walker, 69, of Chilton, formerly of Belton, died in a Waco hospital Thursday, March 17, 2005. Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 21, 2005 at North Belton Cemetery in Belton.

     Mrs. Walker was born to Viggo Joseph and Ilia Adeline Trudeau Hansen in Hugo, Colorado on June 2, 1935. She had been a resident of Chilton for the past 28 years, moving there from Belton, where she had lived for several years. She was a truck driver.

     She was preceded in death by her first husband, Riley Clyde Walker on June 4, 1986.

     Survivors include her husband, Baxter L. "Pete" Nehring of Chilton; and one son, James Carr.

     Heartfield Funeral in Belton was in charge of arrangements.
