       Services for Mrs. Eunice Harlan Swinnea, 89, of Marlin were conducted Sunday, Feb. 1, 1998.
       She was born July 20, 1908.  She died Saturday, Jan. 30, 1998.
       Mrs. Swinnea worked as a nurse for many years in Buie Hospital and the Torbett hospital clinic.
       She is survived by two sons, John A. Swinnea of Virginia, and Sully Swinnea of Bremond; three daughters, Jane Dieterich of Perry, Ann Duke of Marlin and Carolyn Alvarnas of Newport, R.I.; one brother, C. A. Harlan of Corpus Christi; 11 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
       Burial was in Blueridge Cemetery.
