Funeral Services For Texas University Senior
to be held at Granger

Injured in an automobile accident between San Benito and Brownsville Saturday,
Miss Miriam Storrs died at four o'clock this morning in a hospital at Harlingen
where she had been taken for treatment. Pneumonia developed following her
injury, relatives were advised.
Deceased was a niece of Mesdames A. O. Bowdon and N. W. Goodrich of
Marlin, who planned to leave this afternoon for Granger where the funeral will
be held Wednesday afternoon.
A senior in the University of
Texas, Miss Storrs, a daughter o Mrs. Cullen Wayman of Granger, formerly Miss
Linda Finks of Marlin, was spending the Thanksgiving holidays with her aunt,
Miss Ethel Finks, at San Benito at the time of the accident.
Last rites were announced for four o'clock Wednesday
afternoon at the family residence in Granger. The body leaves San Benito
at nine o'clock tonight by railway, arriving Wednesday morning in Taylor, whence
it will be taken overland to Granger for the funeral.
