Death Claims Long Time
Falls County Resident
Mrs. Terressa Storey, 75, widow of the late J. A. Storey, died about one o'clock
Friday morning near Lott at the of her daughter, Ms. John Ligon, with whom she
had resided since the death of her husband about two years ago. Mrs. Storey's
demise followed a brief illness.
A native of Alabama, Mrs. Storey came to Texas as a child and had resided in
Falls county for more than a half century. Her family been actively identified
with the development of this section over a long period of years. She had been a
member of the Christian church for many years.
Surviving deceased are one daughter, Mrs. John Ligon, and three sons, Hal,
Bruce, Fred Storey, all of Lott, also a sister, Mrs. Geo. Storey of Lott, and a
half brother, Ed Caudle of Ballinger.
Last rites for deceased were held at four o'clock Friday afternoon with funeral
services in charge of Rev. Smith of McGregor. Burial was in Union cemetery.
