W. H. Stone’s Funeral Today
Funeral services for William H. (Bill) Stone of Route
10 will be at 4 p.m. today at Criswell School in Criswell. Minister Malcom
Smith will officiate with burial in Criswell Cemetery.
Mr. Stone, retired farmer and rancher, died at his at
2:25 a.m. Sunday. He was 87.
Mr. Stone moved to Texas with his parents when he was
nine years old and had lived in Waco the past 27 years. He was a member of
Robinson Church of Christ.
Survivors are his wife; four sons, Kirby Stone of 1900
Kendrick, Field Stone of Groesbeck, T. B. Stone of China Spring and Elmer Stone
of Marlin; five daughters, Mrs. Lillian Caddell of Sundown, Mrs. Shirley Mae
Stone of Groesbeck, Mrs. Nettie Smith of Route 7, Waco, Mrs. Linne Walts of Ben
Hur and Mrs. Ola Fay Walts of Route 10, Waco; one half-brother, Claude Stone of
Buffalo; one half-sister, Mrs. Minnie Shogry of Detroit, Mich; 39 grandchildren
and 67 great-grandchildren.
