MRS. A.M. STONE
Mrs. A.M. Stone, 50 years
old, died here yesterday after a short illness.
Mrs. Stone was born at Blevens, Texas,
February 14, 1874. She was the daughter of Rev. Isaac Taylor, deceased,
and had been a member of the Methodist church since the age of three years.
She was married to A. M. Stone on May 30, 1889, and to this union was born
eleven children, ten of whom are left to mourn her death: Herbert and
Edgar Stone of Blevens, Oscar Stone of Orange, Texas, Earl Stone of Port Arthur,
Texas, Mrs. L. L. Saurage, Mrs. R. C. Caraway, Clyta, Eugenia and Culbert of
Temple. Sixteen grandchildren and a host of friends also mourn her
untimely death. Her husband died March 27, 1921.
Funeral services will be held this
afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted from the family residence, 1301 North Seventh
street.
The pall bearers will be: Active:

Cloud, Dr. J. M. Woodson, W. E. Cooper and A. J. Jarrell. Honorary:
F. A. Flowers, A. M. Gorden, P. A. Muckleroy of Eddy, J. T. Straus of Blevens,
Doc Daugherty and W. F. Wayland.
Services will be conducted by Rev. Homer T.
Fort of Eddy, assisted by Rev. J. W. Fort of Temple.

Mrs. A. M. Stone's maiden name was Hester Ann Caledonia "Dony" Taylor. She was
the daughter of the Rev. Isaac and Amanda (Ruble) Taylor.
Eldest son Charley David Stone's name was omitted here and should be included at
the beginning of the list of children.
Blevens, Texas should read Blevins, Texas.
T. L. Paige should read T. L. Page.
J. T. Straus should read J. T. Strawn of Blevins.
