STONE
JESSIE MILLER STONE, 82, died
March 7, 2003. He was a custom
builder in the Houston area for many years. Jessie has served as a Sergeant in the U. S. Army during W.
W. II with the 850 Engineers Aviation Battalion.
He is survived by his wife, Loraine Stone; daughters, Gale Erwin, and
husband John, Jeanne Miller and husband David; grandchildren, Brent Meyer, Grant
Meyer, and Lindsey Miller; his sister, Beth Pratt, and husband, J. W., numerous
other relatives and a host of friends.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 PM Sunday, Woodlawn Funeral Home. Funeral services 2:00 PM Monday, March
10, 2003, Woodlawn Funeral Chapel with Mr. Andy Brink officiating. Interment to follow in Woodlawn garden
of Memories.

Jessie Miller Stone was born
and reared at Blevins. He attended Blevins school and Bruceville-Eddy high
school. He moved with his family to Houston sometime in the late 1930s or early
40s. He continued his great interest in Blevins and often attended the Blevins
Cemetery Association annual meetings.
