EDGAR WOOD STONE, 81, died August 18, 1983.  Member of Shepherd Drive United Methodist Church.  Survived by his wife, Gladys, daughter, Beth Pratt; son, James Stone; grandchildren, Johnnie Beth Menton, Gale Ann Meyer, Jeanne-Beth Haven; three sisters, four great-grandchildren.  Funeral 1:30 p.m. Saturday, August 20, Shepherd Dr. Methodist Church.  600 Shepherd Dr., Rev. Sherrill Hall and Rev. Ray Davis officiating.  Interment, Woodlawn Cemetery. HEIGHTS FUNERAL HOME.  1317 Heights Blvd. 862-8844.

Note: Edgar Wood Stone was the son of Abner Miller and Dony (Taylor) Stone of Blevins, Falls County, Texas. He married Gladys Leona Hay.
