Pneumonia Is Fatal To Groesbeeck Woman
Aunt of Marlin Man Will Be Brought Here For Funeral Services: Burial In
Criswell Cemetery Near Odds.
Mrs. Annie Steele, about 80 years of age, died at the
of her daughter in Groesbeeck at 12:05 p.m. Thursday following a short illness
with pneumonia, according to advices received here by W. J. Steele, a nephew.
An Adams Funeral funeral coach went to Groesbeeck after
the body Thursday afternoon and will return it here. Funeral arrangements
had not been completed early in the afternoon, but it is believed that services
will be held Friday with burial in Criswell Cemetery near Odds. She is
survived by her daughter and a son, Kern.

Funeral Services Held For Pneumonia Victim
Aunt of Marlin Man Buried In Criswell Cemetery: One Son and Daughter
Survive: Native of Texas.
Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Steele, 76, aunt of W.
J. Steele of Marlin, were held at 2 p.m. Friday from the of her daughter, Mrs.
B. C. Van Zandt, who lives two miles west of Groesbeeck. Burial was in
Criswell cemetery in charge of Adams Funeral Home. She died Thursday noon
with pneumonia.
Mrs. Steele was born Feb. 27, 1860, and had been a
resident of Texas all her life. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Van
Zandt, and one son, Kerney Steele.
Pallbearers were Robert Erskine, Bob Erskine, Herbert
Kling, Carl McAlester, T. E. Criswell and Lloyd Coleman.
