GEORGE E. SANDERS DIES
George E. Sanders died in a Houston
infirmary Wednesday afternoon. The
remains will arrive in Marlin this afternoon at 4:55 over the H&T.C. The funeral
will take place from the train under escort of the Artesia Camp No. 135, W.O.W.,
of which he was a member. Services will be held at the grave.
Mr. Sanders had been ill for some time, and
three weeks ago was taken to Houston from his at Hillsboro for treatment of
paralysis.
Deceased was born in
Limestone County 56 years ago. His
parents moved to Marlin when he was quite young and this was his for many years. A widow and five children survive. The children are: Mrs. Cathey of Gatesville, Mrs. Schmidt of Houston, George
and Henry Sanders and Miss Mae Sanders, and many other relatives. He was a man well liked by all who knew
him.
