Ruby Hill

 

     Funeral services for Ruby Hill, 78, of Rosenberg, will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Chapel in Rosenberg with interment following at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg.  Pastor John Black will officiate the services.

     Ruby was born May 7, 1930 to Aaron Newton and Mary Magdallen (Walts) Bowers.  She was an assistant Administrator at Autumn Hills Nursing for many years.  Ruby went to be with the Lord on January 11, 2009 at Richmond Healthcare in Richmond (formerly Autumn Hills Nursing Home).

     Ruby is survived by her husband of 62 ½ years, Robert Lee Hill, Jr.; daughters, Janice Bowling, Debra Singler and Renee Wittneben and husband, Clay; grandchildren, Joel Bowling and wife, Tammy, Jill Savory and husband, Zach, Christian Singler and wife, Ellen, Brandy Chavarria and husband, Alex, Jarrod Wittneben and wife, Melissa and Courtney Wleczyk and husband, Chad; sisters, Ora Breed, Nell Moore, Frances Weaver Hancock, Betty Barker and husband, Thelston; great-grandchildren, Damon, Connor, Shelby, Randy, Jonathan, Brianna, Cheyenne, Lauren, Brandon, Cameron, Clay Wayne, Tyler and Emersyn; brother-in-law, Jimmy Hill and family, along with other relatives and friends.

    Pallbearers will be Christian Singler, Alex Chavarria, Zach Savory, Jarrod Wittneben, Cole Wittneben and Chad Wleczyk. 

     Honorary pallbearers will be Joel Bowling and Clay Wittneben.
