Durwood G. Grusendorf

1937 - April 22, 2008
Durwood G. Grusendorf, age 71, of Moody, entered into rest on Tuesday,
April 22, 2008. Services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 26, 2008 at the
Perry United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ike Ledger officiating.
Burial followed in the Perry Methodist Cemetery. The family receivee
friends on Friday evening from 6 - 8 at Adams Funeral in Marlin.
Mr. Grusendorf was born February 17, 1937 in Watt to Wilbur and Julia
Vogel Grusendorf. He was an air conditioning mechanic and retired in 2003 from
Lochridge - Priest of Waco after 35 years of service. He was a three year
resident of Moody moving there from Waco. Mr. Grusendorf was a Methodist. He
coached little league in his younger years and loved boating and fishing with
his family. He had a big heart and will be greatly missed by all who knew and
loved him.
Survivors include his sons, John Grusendorf and his wife Wanda of Moody,
Richard Glen Grusendorf of Saint Jo, TX, William David Grusendorf and his wife
Joetta of Waco, Douglas Paul Grusendorf and his wife Sonya of Hubbard; daughter,
Mary Elizabeth Wiley and her husband Paul of Corsicana; sister, Juliette Harvey
of Houston; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Perry United Methodist Church.
