Johnnie A. Greensage, 57, of 810 Houghton Ave. died Wednesday in a local
hospital.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Joseph's Catholic
Church. The Rev. Leonard Leddy will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary
Cemetery. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today in Adams Funeral chapel.
Mr. Greensage was born Aug. 19, 1929 in Falls County, a son of Ben Greensage Sr.
and Katherine Swatloski Greensage. He married Irene Reinke and the couple
resided here all of their married life.
Mr. Greensage owned and operated Johnnie's Garage until ill health forced his
retirement in 1976.
He was a member of the St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife of Marlin; two brothers, Charlie Greensage and Billy
Greensage, both of Marlin; a sister, Mrs. Lonnie (Lucille) Campbell of Houston;
and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Ben (Gertrude) Greensage of Marlin; and several nieces
and nephews.
A brother, Ben Greensage Jr., preceded him in death on Sept. 6, 1986.
Honorary pallbearers will be David Simmons, Richard Jobe, Richard Johnson, David
Jobe and Henry Michalak.
The family will be at the Ben Greensage home, 906 Capps St.
