Angelita 'Angelina' Garcia

     Services for Angelita "Angelina" Garcia, 76, of Bryan are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bryan.

     Monsignor John McCaffrey of St. Joseph Catholic Church will officiate.

     Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.

     A rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

     Ms. Garcia died Saturday at St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan.

     She was born in Marlin and lived in Bryan most of her life. She attended Marlin High School and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She worked as a supervisor in the Memorial Student Center at Texas A&M University and also worked at Duncan Dining Hall.

     She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry D. Chavez; and a daughter, Glenda Chavez.

     Survivors include four sons and daughters-in-law, Ruddy and Janie Chavez of Round Rock, Robert and Mary Jane Chavez of Mesquite, David and Rose Mary Chavez and Stephen Henry and Jeanette Chavez, all of Bryan; two daughters and a son-in-law, Virginia De La Cruz and Linda and Jesse Ramirez, all of Bryan; a sister, Juanita Chavez of Hearne; 19 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
