Charles Edwin Frazier
November 25, 1917 – September. 26, 2006
Charles Edwin Frazier, age 88 of Marlin, entered into rest on Tuesday, September 26, 2006. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Hillcrest Cemetery with John Sirman and Scott Strother officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home.
Charles was born November 25, 1917 in Marlin. He was retired from the J. C. Penney Co, where he worked in retail sales for 40 years. He was a life long resident of Marlin and was a member of East Side Church of Christ. Charles was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during World War II in the Aleutian Islands. He loved to play golf and his greatest pleasure in life was doting over his grandchildren. He married Vada Helen Innerarity on November 19, 1945 in Seattle, Washington and she preceded him in death on June 29, 2006. All who knew Charles will miss his great sense of humor and treasure his memory.
He is survived by: his daughters: Charlotte Jobe and husband Sammy of Marlin; Sandy Talley and husband Gary of Hewitt; his brother, B. L. Davis of Houston; grandchildren: Lee and Debbie Jobe, Matt Shook, Leslie and Jackie Jobe, Kylie Shook and Jason Burris; great-grandchildren: Gage Shook, McKenzie Jobe, Christopher Stulter and Braden Stulter.
