Charles Edwin Frazier
Charles Edwin Frazier, 88, of Marlin, entered into rest on Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2006. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Hillcrest Cemetery with John Sirman and Scott Strother officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Adams Funeral Home.
Charles was born Nov. 25, 1917, in Marlin. He was retired from the J. C. Penney Co., where he worked in retail sales for 40 years. He was a life long resident of Marlin and was a member of East Side Church of Christ. Charles was a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving during World War II in the Aleutian Islands. He loved to play golf and his greatest pleasure in life was doting over his grandchildren. He married Vada Helen Innerarity on Nov. 19, 1945, in Seattle, Wash., and she preceded him in death on June 29, 2006. All who knew Charles will miss his great sense of humor and treasure his memory.
Survivors include daughters, Charlotte Jobe and husband, Sammy of Marlin, and Sandy Talley and husband, Gary of Hewitt; brother, B. L. Davis of Houston; grandchildren, Lee and Debbie Jobe, Matt Shook, Leslie and Jackie Jobe, Kylie Shook and Jason Burris; and great-grandchildren, Gage Shook, McKenzie Jobe, Christopher Stulter and Braden Stulter.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to: Marlin Faith Christian Academy, P.O. Box 1068, Marlin, TX 76661.
