Mrs. E. E. Folk, 82, died at 2:15 a.m. Sunday at her in Marlin. Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Sunday at Adams Funeral Chapel. Mass was at 9:30 Monday in St. Joseph Catholic Church at Marlin. Rev. Henry Gottschalk officiated with burial in Calvary Cemetery.
Mrs. Folk was born Della Rickellman in Marlin, Jan. 6, 1887. She had lived in Marlin most of her life.
Survivors are six sons, Lee Harter of Mart, Wm. J. Harter and Jimmy Harter of Marlin, Joe Harter of Lubbock, Louis Harter of Mississippi and Elmer Folk of Houston; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Weldon Read of Mart, Mrs. Jessie Woody of Aransas Pass and Mrs. Lodema Jordan of Conroe; three sisters, Mrs. Chas F Pard of New Jersey, Mrs. Mary Schuh and Mrs. Clara Donohoo of Marlin; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
