Mrs. Futschik, 90, Dies in Weimar; Rosebud Burial
Mrs. Antonio Futschik, 90, formerly of Rosebud, died Friday, March 8 in a Weimar hospital.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Ann’s Catholic church in Rosebud, with Rev. Ray Widacki officiating. Burial was in Woodland cemetery.
Rosary was recited Saturday night at Green’s Funeral chapel of Rosebud.
Mrs. Futschik was born March 10, 1877 in Germany. She lived in Rosebud until 1942 when she moved to Weimar.
Surviving are two sons, Julius Futschik of Burlington and August Futschik of San Antonio; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Kainer of Weimar; ten grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were Thomas Futschik, Ted Vitek, Albert Dach, Joe Dach, Frank Sukup, and Jerome Reinders.
