Phillip C. "Trey" Eddins III, 24, of Eddy, died Saturday, November 10, 2007, in a tragic automobile accident near Bruceville-Eddy. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 14, 2007, at Oakwood Cemetery with the Rev. Curtis Holland officiating.
Trey was born May 1, 1983, in Waco, to Phillip and Kim (Windham) Eddins Jr.
He attended Breckenridge High School prior to moving to Eddy.
Trey had learned in life many skills and trades from both his father and grandfather. He had accomplished many projects with both the use of his knowledge of these trades and the use of his own two hands. Trey was always working on vehicles, assisting others in improvement projects or completing his own personal projects including the remodeling of his new family home. Everyone that knew Trey would agree that he could either fix or build anything one would need with his own two talented hands. Trey will be truly missed by anyone fortunate enough to be touched by his heart and soul. Trey is now on his personal journey into God's own two hands.
Trey is preceded in death by his grandmother, Teloiv Eddins.
Trey is survived by his wife, Kassi McKee Eddins; his son, Phillip C. Eddins, IV; his parents, Kim and Phillip C. Eddins, Jr., of Eddy; sister, Heather "Danie" Foust and husband, Toby; brother, Tory "Chance" Eddins; grandfather, Phillip C. Eddins, Sr.; uncle, James Eddins; aunt, Phylis McFall and husband, Tim; in-laws, Tammy and John Penny, and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
