A. J. Eddins Loses Life Under
Wheels at Big Springs.

A telegram was received Sunday morning by relatives here, stating that A. J. Eddins had been killed by a switch engine at Big Springs Saturday afternoon.
Deceased was a railroad man of several years service. He was a car inspector at the time of his death. No particulars of the tragedy were given in the telegram which merely conveyed the information of his death and said that the funeral would take place at Big Springs.
Deceased was a brother of Mr. J. R. Eddins of Stranger and an uncle of A. W., M. E. and C. R. Eddins of Marlin. J. R. and Pink Eddins left Sunday for Big Springs to attend the funeral.
