Mrs. Dickey Dies at 52;
Rites Today
CHILTON (SPL) – Mrs. Benton H. (Leona) Dickey, 52, of Chilton died at 8:30 p.m. Monday in a Waco hospital.
Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. today in the Chilton Baptist Church with Rev. Harry Brasher and Rev. Jerry Lemon officiating. Burial will be in Chilton Cemetery.
Mrs. Dickey was born in Cego, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Lane. She graduated from Chilton High School and Mary Hardin-Baylor College and received her masters degree from Baylor University.
She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma. She married Benton Dickey in 1945 at Waco. She lived in Chilton and taught school there.
She was a Baptist.
Survivors include her husband; her mother, Mrs. R. W. Lane of Chilton; one brother, Robert Lane Jr. of Fort Worth; three sisters, Mrs. Charles Henderson of Temple, Mrs. Norman Nison* of Fort Worth and Mrs. W. C. Murphy of Dallas.
