EDMUND (E.F.) DREWS

Edmund (E. F.) Drews, age 82, of Marlin passed away Tuesday, July 20, 1999 at his in Marlin.  Funeral services were held Thursday, July 22, 1999 at Grace Lutheran Church in Marlin with Rev. Gerald Epperson officiating.  Interment was in the Hillcrest Cemetery.

Mr. Drews, born December 15, 1916 in Falls County, was the son of Adolph and Adela Neumann Drews.  He was a life long resident of Falls County, a retired farmer and rancher, and a member of Grace Lutheran Church where he was a former Elder.  He married Martha Niemeyer on April 30, 1940 in Otto.  She preceded him in death in 1989.

Survivors in sons Kenneth, Jimmy, Roger, Keith and Duane Drews, all of Marlin; daughter Pattie Voges, Riesel; 16 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were: Chris Drews, Derreck  Drews, Josh Drews, Brandon Drews, Daniel Drews and Jacob Voges.

Honorary pallbearers were: Greg Woodard, Greg Amber, Jason Murphy and Wesley Walker.

The family suggests memorial be made to the Grace Lutheran Church Building Fund.

Adams Funeral of Marlin was entrusted with the arrangements.
