MAN CLAIMED BY DEATH AT
HIS ON BLUE RIDGE
Last Rites Announced at Funeral
With Burial in
Calvary.
E. E. Curd, age 83 years, died at his on Blue Ridge at 6:30 o'clock this
morning. His death, was unexpected, being ascribed to a bronchial
infection.
Deceased came to Falls county from
Mayfield, Ky., in 1907. He was engaged in farming pursuits and held the
esteem of a large circle of friends.
Surviving are his wife, a son, C. P. Curd
of Marlin, and two daughters, Mrs. W. W. Garrett of Big Hill and Mrs. S. H.
Barnett of Blue Ridge.
Services for deceased were announced for 10
o'clock Saturdy morning with last rites at the funeral chapel in Marlin and
burial in Calvary cemetery.
Active pall bearers are R. A. Brown, T. L.
Criswell, J. E. Coleman, H. S. Swinnea, Dewey Owens, J. H. Shipp; honorary, T.

LAST RITES CONDUCTED FOR
RESIDENT OF BLUE RIDGE
Services Held in Funeral Chapel
With Burial in Calvary.
Last rites for E. E.
Curd, age 83 years, who died at his on Blue Ridge early Friday, were held in
Marlin at 10 o'clock this morning.
Services were conducted i the funeral
chapel by C. L. Maxwell, East Waco Church of Christ minister and formerly of
Marlin, assisted by Rev. S. D. Dollahite, pastor of the First Baptist church
of Marlin. Burial was in Calvary cemetery.
