Georgia Ann (Frost)
Curd passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2005 in Dallas, Texas. Graveside
services were held at 3:00 pm Sunday, March 20, 2005 at Calvary Cemetery in
Marlin, Falls Co., Texas.
Georgia Ann Frost Curd
was born April 4, 1927, in Marlin, Texas. Georgia Ann worked for many years, and
had a wonderfully successful career with the Seagoville State Bank in
Seagoville, Texas.
Colleagues,
friends and family alike were always drawn to Georgia Ann because of her
never-ending generosity and her constant, cheerful demeanor. Upon her retirement
from the Bank, Georgia Ann, and her beloved husband of 57 years, C. P. Curd,
realized their dreams and started the most amazing journey, visiting some of the
most beautiful places this country has to offer. They made so many new friends
along the way, and touched the lives of countless people all across the country,
just as she had done her whole life.
Georgia Ann was
a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who never met a
stranger and never had an unkind word for anyone. No matter if you called her
Georgia, no matter if you called her Mom, or no matter if you called her Nanny,
you always knew who to call if you needed unwavering love and support.
She was preceded
in death by her father, Floyd Frost; her mother, Stella Frost; her husband of 57
years, C. P. Curd; and granddaughter, Spencer Curd.
She is survived by her son, Phillip Curd; son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Amy
Curd; grandsons, Tyler Curd, Hunter Curd, and Chanceller Curd; great-grandsons,
Colton Curd, Dillon Curd, and Wyatt Curd.
