Mavies Louise Crouch

July 20, 1960 — November 23, 2001

     Funeral services for Mavies Louise Crouch, 41, of Bryan are set for 1 p.m. Thursday at Allen Chapel AME Church.

     The Rev. Barry Spencer will officiate. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery in Hearne.

     Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Jones Washington Funeral Home.

     Mrs. Crouch died Friday at St. Joseph Hospital in Bryan.

     She was born in Marlin and lived in Bryan for 15 years. She was a graduate of Brazos Business College, a homemaker and a member of Allen Chapel AME Church.

     She was preceded in death by her children, Tasheba, LaQuita, Billy Wayne and Natasha.

     Survivors include her husband, Floyd Gilbert Crouch Jr. of Bryan; a son, Isaiah Jordan Crouch of Bryan; six brothers, M.C. Sullivan, Robert Lee Nelson and Anthony Nelson, all of Bryan, Sam Eddie Nelson Jr. and Kevin Arbor, both of Hearne, and James Raymond Nelson of Houston; four sisters, Annie B. Gray and Robin M. Nelson, both of Bryan, and Frances Nelson-Crouch and Clarissia V. Wilson, both of College Station; and her mother and stepfather, Repsey B. Nelson Woods and Lemon Woods.
