Obituaries
MRS. RUBY P. CROSBY
CEGO -- Mrs. Ruby P. Crosby, 80, of the Cego community in
Falls County, died Monday evening in a Rosebud hospital.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at
the Adams Funeral Chapel in Marlin, the Rev. Bert Gillis and the Rev. Fred
Weltge officiating. Burial will be in Cego Cemetery.
Mrs. Crosby was born Aug. 1, 1901, in Cego.
She was married to Preston C. Crosby July 17, 1920, and they resided in Cego.
Mr. Crosby, a farmer, died May 3, 1970. Mrs. Crosby was a member of the
Mooreville Baptist Church.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. R.
B. (Nettie) Brummitt of Arlington, Mrs. Roland (Wanda) Schaake of Cego, Mrs.
John (Pauline) Prince of Troy and Mrs. George (Linda) Hahmann of Lorena; three
sons, C. H. Crosby of Forth Worth, Liddell Crosby of Cego and Kenneth Crosby of
Arlington; two sisters, Mrs. Leta Johnson of Corpus Cristi and Mrs. Donnita
Kirksey of Forth Worth; a brother, G. H. Goodman of Grand Prairie; 15
grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
