Services for Jeanne
Criswell, 64, of Bryan will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in
Bryan.
The Revs. Bruce Prindle and J. W. Kornegay,
pastors, will officiate. Burial will be in Bryan City Cemetery. Visiting
hours will be from noon to 9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday at
Memorial Funeral Chapel. Visiting hours will also be from 1-2 p.m.
Saturday at First Baptist Church.
Mrs. Criswell died Thursday morning at her
residence.
She was born in Temple and had lived 39
years in Bryan. She was a homemaker and vice president and secretary of
Criswell Distributing in Bryan for 24 1/2 years. She worked as a secretary
at NCR prior to her association at Criswell's. She was a member of the
Brazos Lion's Club. She was one of the regional chairpersons of District 2
S 5 of the Lion's Club International. She also devoted her time as a
worker in the pre-school children's department for the past eight years at First
Baptist Church in Bryan. She was a member of the church as well.
She was preceded in death by her parents,
Clarence and Mae Honeycutt; and her first husband, G.M. Nevill.
Survivors include her husband, Ray Criswell
Sr. of Bryan; a son and daughter-in-law, Ray Jr. and Judy Criswell of Houston;
four daughters and three sons-in-law, Cathy and Mark Conlee, Malissa and Jeff
Clary, Carolyn and Richard Baur and Marilyn Franer, all of Bryan; a sister, Mary
Nell Collier of Mansfield; and nine grandchildren, Bart Criswell III of Houston,
Chris Baur of Bryan, Becky Baur of Bryan, Heather Franer of Hawaii, Health
Franer of Dallas, Don Conlee of Bryan, Kelli Conlee of Bryan, Jordan Clary of
Bryan and Jill Clary of Bryan.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Brazos
Valley, the Salvation Army, the Lion's Eye Bank of Austin, Texas, Texas Lion's
Camp in Kerrville, the American Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
