CRISWELL, EMERY GABE
Surnames: CRISWELL.
(Newspaper unknown
date February 1899)
DIED
On February 17, 1899, little Gabe Criswell,
son of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Criswell at Ogden. He was born March 19, 1895,
which would have made him four years old, lacking one month and two days.
He had never (been) a stout child, but was taken away (by me)mbranous croup.
(missing) not dear child of your affections;
(missing) gone to the school
Where he no longer needs
Your protection
And Christ himself doth rule.
Not as a child shall you again behold him.
For when with rapturous wild
In your embrace you again enfold them
He will not be a child.
But a fair youth to his father's mansions.
Clothed with celestial grace.
And beautiful with all the soul's expansion.
Shall you again behold his face.
