YOAKUM -- Billy S. Criswell, 64, of Yoakum, died Wednesday at a San Antonio
hospital following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m.
Saturday at Buffington Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Howard MacAllister
officiating.
Burial will follow in the Shiner Catholic
Cemetery.
Born Aug. 12, 1923 in Marlin, Mr. Criswell
was a retired major on the U. S. Air Force.
He was a member of First United Methodist
Church in Yoakum.
Surviving are his wife, Vlasta Greive
Criswell of Yoakum; a daughter, Martha Sue Bedford of Oklahoma; a son, James
Criswell of Needville; a stepson, Clyde Wayne Buros of Yoakum; a brother, T. E.
Criswell of Marlin; and four grandchildren.
