Vick Contella was a beloved
husband , father, son, brother,
grandfather and great grand
father.
He passed away Sept. 23, 2007
at his in Reagan.
He was born in Eloise, TX
April 7,
1938. He lived in Falls
County most of his life. He
retired in Jan. from Falls
Community Hospital.
Everyone has a special
memory of time spent with Vick.
Maybe it was at work, fishing,
working on something, or just
hanging out with him enjoying
a few beers.
He loved to BBQ,
and visit with family and friends
every Sept., which was his and
Toni's anniversary, and his
Dad's birthday.
He was one of
a kind, and he took a piece of a
lot of
hearts with him. He will
be missed by so many.
He was preceded in death
by his newborn son, Vicky Ray,
his Mother,
Myrtle Contella,
and his G'father and G'mother,
Victor & Lena Contella.
He is survived by his
beloved wife of 30 years, Toni
Contella; sons, Philip Contella
and his fiance Denise Viers,
residing in Burleson,TX, also
Michael Contella and his wife
Carol Lea, residing in Hewitt,TX;
Jimmy Krumnow, who he loved
like a son, and his wife, Terri,
residing in Georgetown,TX.;
his father, Pete Contella, of
Marlin; his sister, Lena
McCann, and her husband,
Kenneth of Highlands, TX;
and brother Joe Contella, of
Marlin.
He left behind 5 grand-
children, who he loved
very much, Victor Contella,
and his wife, Lynette, residing
in England, Amanda Contella
of Mansfield,TX; Michael,
Noah, and Lydia Contella of
Hewitt,TX
He left one great
grandson, Philip Contella
in England.
Other loved ones that he
left behind; father and
mother-In-Law, Bruno and
Helen Wierzbicki of Bremond;
sister and
brother-In-Laws,
Verna and Fred Muzyka of
Conroe, and their children
Charlotte and Franklin;
Michalene and Billy Hailey of
Beeville, and their children,
Michelle, Tricia, and Pam;
Charlene and Bryan Walker of
Hearne and their children
Victoria and Tommy.
Many other relatives and
friends will mourn his passing.
Vicks family very much
appreciates Hillcrest Hospice
for their wonderful care and
thoughtfullness during these
trying months, with special
thanks to RN Glen Johnson
and Chaplain Pat Patton. Also
thanks to Dr. David Fedro for
his care, and being there when
we needed him.
