CEGO RESIDENT DIES
AT HIS SUNDAY
Funeral Services for Native of Massachusetts
Held Monday Afternoon: Had Resided in Texas
Many Years.
Charles Fitch Clark, 77,
died at his near Cego Sunday morning following a lengthy illness. Mr.
Clark, native of Massachusetts, had resided in the Cego-Blevins area for many
years and is well known in the western section of the county. He was born
October 17, 1859.
He is survived by his wife, one brother,
George Clark of Desdemonia; three sons, Homer, Silas and Luben Clark, all of
Cego; four daughters, Mrs. O. L. Bowers, Eddy, Mrs. B. L. Parham, Cego; Mrs.
George Hill, of Dallas, and Mrs. Albert Harris, Tyler.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m.
Monday at Blevins with the Rev. John Threadgill conducting the services.
Burial was in the Blevins cemetery.
