SUE PARHAM CHET
Sue Parham Chet, of
Conroe, an Eddy native, died Tuesday in a Conroe hospital. She was 70.
Memorial services will be at noon Friday at
Metcalf Funeral Chapel in Conroe.
Mrs. Chet was born Sept. 21, 1921, in Eddy
and spent most of her life in Lorain, Ohio, before retiring in Conroe. She
graduated from Bruceville-Eddy High School and Southwest Texas State University.
She lived most of her life in Marino, Ohio. She was a Methodist.
She was general manager of Andorka Lanes in
Lorain, Ohio for many years, before becoming office manager for the Lorain
County Easter Seal Society. She was an active member of the Medical Center
Hospital Auxiliary in Conroe.
She was preceded in death by her husbands,
Frank (Hank) Andorka and Gilbert J. Chet.
Survivors include two sons, Frank H.
Andorka of Bay Village, Ohio, and Russell Andorka of Spring; a daughter, Mrs.
Harvey (Jane) Holliman of Conroe; five sisters, Daphna Greenhaw and Ben Ella
Ferguson, both of Buda, Dorothy Stephenson and Betty Duty, both of Belton, and
Mildred Gates of Rockdale; a brother, B. R. Parham, Jr. of McGregor; and three
grandchildren.
The family has designated the Medical
Center Hospital Auxiliary, P. O. Box 1538, Conroe, Texas 77305, Loraine County
Easter Seal Society, 33086 N. Ridge Road, Elyria, Ohio 440335 or the
individual's favorite charity for memorials.
