Mrs. F. A. Barth, Formerly
of
Blevins, Dies At
San Angelo, Rites At Cego
Mrs. F. A. Barth, 90, died at 4:30 a.m.
Monday, January 24, 1955, in a hospital at San Angelo. Funeral services were
held Tuesday afternoon at the Evangelical and Reformed Church of Cego, Rev.
Clarence Kohring of Otto officiating, burial at Blevins. Six grandsons were the
pallbearers.
Surviving Mrs. Barth are four sons, K. W.
Barth of Blevins, E. F. Barth of Port Isabel, W. W. Barth of Mercedes and A. R.
Barth of San Angelo; four daughters, Miss Emma Barth and Mrs. R. W. Willig, both
of San Angelo, Mrs. Ed Spohn of Troy and Mrs. R. H. Hewitt of Taylor; eight
grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Born in Germany Aug. 30, 1864, she came to
the United States and settled at Golinda in 1884, moved to Blevins in 1887, to
San Angelo to make her with her daughters a year ago.
