John Wesley Barrett
died Nov. 13,2008 at age 80. Barrett was born Feb. 11, 1919, in Marlin, Texas.
He moved to the Portland area in the 1940s and was a tanker driver and member of
the Teamsters Local 162. In 1945, he married Isabelle Karau; she died in 2000.
Survivors include her daughters, Karen Barett-Lathrop and Holly Barrett.
