S. D. BURKE PASSES AWAY AT NEW MEXICO

Mrs. J. S. Killibrew received a telegram Wednesday from Partales, New Mexico, stating that her father, S. D. Burke had died Wednesday morning at 2:40 o'clock. He had been an invalid since August 25th, caused from being hurt in a runaway and had not walk any since. On January 4th he was stricken suddenly ill with pneumonia and died January 13, at the age of 72 years.

He was a brother of W. Z. Burke of Reagan, and was a old settler of Falls county up till twenty years ago when he moved to Kauffman, Texas, and lived eight years and then moved to Partales, New Mexico and remained there until his death.
