SHERIFF DIES in MARLIN

This City Taken Home
For Burial.

       B. C. Buie, age 77, of Gilmer, a kinsman of Dr. N. D. Buie of Marlin, died in this city at eight o'clock Friday night.  He came to this city for treatment about a month ago, having been a visitor for his health a number of times in former years.
       Deceased was a former sheriff of Upshur county, retiring from that office a number of years ago.  He had large realty holdings in that section of Texas where he had resided for many years.
       Surviving deceased are his widow and several children.
       Accompanied by relatives, the body was taken for burial today in Glenwood cemetery in Upshur county.
