Doyle Broxton
Doyle Broxton, 54, of Marquez, passed away Saturday, Dec. 20, 2008, at Copper Creek Nursing in Buffalo. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23, at the Groesbeck Funeral Chapel with Pastor Lee Weiler officiating. Burial will follow at Criswell Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 22, at the Groesbeck Funeral Home.

Doyle Broxton, 54, of Marquez passed away Saturday, December 20, 2008 at Copper Creek Nursing in Buffalo.
Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Monday, December 22, 2008 at the Groesbeck Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at the Groesbeck Funeral Chapel with Lee Weiler officiating. Burial will follow at Criswell Cemetery.
Doyle was born August 29, 1954 in Marlin, TX to Julious and Mildred (Ellis) Broxton. He was a heavy equipment operator and a member of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Randy Broxton.
Survivors include his brothers, Rodger Broxton and wife Renee of Bryan, TX, Garry Broxton and wife Vina of Jewett, TX; sisters, Vicki Kavanaugh and husband Dwayne of Spring, TX Sandra Winstead and husband Mike of Marquez, TX; step-brothers, Rickie Dowling and wife Mary Francis of Conroe, TX, Terry Dowling of Caldwell, TX; step-father, Warren (Bud) Dowling; nieces, Heather DuMais, Melissa Hodges, Dusty Mathews and husband David and Mandy Roddey and husband Brock; nephews, Brian Kavanaugh, Jeffrey Kavanaugh, Justin Broxton, Jeremy Winstead, Shenan Starling, Keith Schiller and Kris Schiller; and many great-nieces and nephews that loved him very much.
Pallbearers are Justin Broxton, Brian Kavanaugh, Jeffrey Kavanaugh, Jeremy Winstead, Keith Schiller and Shenan Starling. Honorary pallbearers are Mike Winstead, Jim Noey and Dwayne Kavanaugh.
