J. F. Brothers Dead

    J. F. Brothers (Boog) Brothers died at the family at Stranger
Sunday evening at 6 o'clock.  He had been in poor health for the past three months, and his death cast a gloom over the entire community.
    Mr. Brothers was about 65 years of age, and for the past several years has been an active church worker, being a member of the Presbyterian church.  He was a great believer in education and saw to it that all his chidden received a good education.  He was one of Strangers foremost men, always looking to the betterment of the community and the welfare of its citizens.
    He leaves a wife and five children to mourn their loss.  The children are, Mrs. Milton Hodges, Misses Winnie and Mozelle, Clarence and Talmage.
    The funeral service will be held at four o'clock this afternoon at the residence at Stranger, the funeral service being conducted by Rev. Crockett, pastor of the deceased.
