OF TROY DIES;
FUNERAL TODAY
TEMPLE (SPL) -- Mrs. Rillie Ola Broome, 64, of Troy died Thursday morning in a
Temple hospital.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today in
the Harper-Talasek Funeral chapel, burial in Blevins Cemetery.
Surviving are her husband; two sons, James
Broome of Troy and Clof Broome of Temple; two daughters, Mrs. R. E. Ferguson of
Buda and Mrs. Bobby Canterberry of Fort Worth; and six grandchildren.

Mrs. Rillie Ola Broome, 64, Rt. l, Troy, died in a Temple hospital Thursday
morning after a long illness.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the
Harper-Talasek Funeral chapel, the Rev. Rod Robinson of Waco officiating.
Burial will be in Blevins Cemetery.
Mrs. Broome, the former Miss Rillie Bowers,
was born in Blevins Community and lived in the area most of her life. She
was married to Elija Broome Jan. 4, 1925, in Satin.
Surviving are her husband; two sons, James
R. Broome of Troy and Clois E. Broome of Temple; two daughters, Mrs. Robert E.
Ferguson of Buda and Mrs. Bobbie Canterberry of Fort Worth; four sisters, Mrs.
C. D. Stone of Gatesville, Mrs. Drew Walthall of Taylor, Mrs. Louis Concilio of
Waco and Mrs. James Pace of Lorena; and six grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Grady Bargainer, Joe
McPherson, Billy C. Garrett, Gordon Broome, Jim Redden and Clois Stone.

TEMPE (SPL) -- Funeral services for Mrs. Rillie Ola Broome of Troy were at
Harper-Talasek Chapel in Temple at 2 p.m. today. Burial was in Blevins
Cemetery.
Mrs. Broome died in a Temple hospital
Thursday. She was 64.
