Bruno A. Brezina
February 13, 1921 — July 15, 2003
BREMOND — Services for Bruno A. Brezina, 82, of Mesquite are set
for 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bremond.
The Rev. Celso
Yu will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery in Bremond.
Visitation will
be from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday at Bremond Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at
7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Brezina died
Tuesday at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Dallas.
He was born in
Marlin and lived in Mesquite for the past seven years. He was a retired grader
operator in Falls County.
Mr. Brezina
served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a member of the
Knights of Columbus Marlin Council and St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Marlin.
Survivors
include his wife, Blanche Brezina of Mesquite; two sons and a daughter-in-law,
William Brezina of Kewanee, Ill., and Timothy and Susan Anderson of McKinney;
two brothers and four sisters-in-law, Joe and Verna Brezina of Axtell, Antone
and Midge Brezina of Marshall, Helen M. Brezina of San Jacinto and Helen G.
Brezina of Sugar Land; four sisters and a brother-in-law, Mary Pavelka of
Conroe, Pauline and George Herzog of Dobbin, Veronica Willett of Temple and
Mageline Angelo of Houston; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Daniel and
Dorothy Kujawa of Mesquite; and one grandchild.
