______________
My Notes:
James Augustus Bell was born in Anderson Co. SC on 31 May 1842, died on 29
December 1928. (this death date came from the Families of Falls
County book, while his Confed. Pension Application has his date of death
28 Dec 1928). If the Obit is right and he died on Saturday and was buried
on Sunday, it would have to be Dec 29th as death date, and Dec 30th as burial
date.
Son of Samuel Bell and Anna Stevenson.
Husband of Amanda M. Erskine (mar: 7 Sept 1861 in Falls Co..)
Buried in the Bell-Garrett or Garrett Cemetery.
