CHURCH SCHOOL HOLDS
ANNUAL YULE PARTY
The Church School Department of the Reorganized Church of
Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints presented an annual Christmas program at the
church Sunday evening, with 175 members and guests attending.
Elder N. S. White played a piano solo, "Come All Ye Faithful," and Church School
Director Elder Alfred Feldman read the call to worship. "A Child is Born"
was sung by Mrs. N. S. White and Mrs. Allen Brunson.
The Kindergarten Class with Mrs. N. S. White and Mrs. Martha Reneau leading,
presented recitations. A piano solo was played by Sally White.
The Primary Class with Mrs. Frank Spicer and Mrs. Dorothy Walker in charge
presented a recitation exercise, "Welcome Baby Jesus," and sang "Away in a
Manager."
The Junior Class with Mrs. Alfred Feldman directing, presented in recitation
form "The Birth of Jesus," with Elder Arthur Allen as narrator. They sang
"Joy to the World the Lord is Come."
The Junior Class with Mrs. Earl Allen and Mrs. Edna Drosche in charged, gae
recitations and sang "It Came Upon the Midnight Clear."
A sermonette, "The Message of Christmas," was given by High Priest Earl E.
Allen. After the program the children exchanged gifts in the education
building, in the presence of Santa Claus.
