MORE SUPPLIES
DISPATCHED FROM
HERE TO WACO
Another truckload of canned goods, kitchen supplies, and items of furniture were
dispatched from Marlin Monday.
E. C. Parson of Marlin has driven his truck
to Waco on these volunteer missions every day since last Tuesday. Helping
him Monday were Jim High, Ed Woltman, Jack Loggins and Luke Bearden.
Among Monday's truckload of supplies were
six gas heaters and six beds with springs donated by one Marlin woman, and a
complete set of dishes donated by another.
The men working on the truck say they have
been told at the Waco relief centers that what is possibly needed most is
kitchen utensils and baby clothing.
