FALLS COUNTY PRODUCT PRAISED FOR HIS WORK
Article Accompanied by Picture Tells of His Farm Agent Activities
"Countrywide well balanced farm program of 'Living-at-Home' is the
goal of C.A. Munsch, Kaufman county farm agent, whose splendid
services have reaped bountiful results agriculturally and paved the
way to farm prosperity, reads a lengthy article in a recent issue of
The Kaufman Daily Herald, accompanied by a picture of a subject of
the sketch and a portrayal of some of the things he is doing in his
work.
Reared at Rosebud, this Falls county product finished high school
there and later attended A. and M. College where he won fame as
"Smoky Joe," hurling ace of the Aggie baseball team. He went
overseas during the world war as a member of the signal corps.
A son of H. J. Munsch, who lives several miles from Marlin just west
of the Brazos river, the Kaufman county farm agent has been in this
work seven years, four of which were spent in Jack county. Both
Mr. Munsch and his wife, formerly Miss Helena Ocker of Rosebud,
visit relatives in Falls county at intervals, and friends in this
section are following his progress in his chosen field with
interest.
