FALLS COUNTY PTA COUNCIL WILL CONVENE IN MARLIN
Election and Installation of Officers and Other Matters on Program
Election and installation of officers will mark the business session of the Falls county P.-T.A. Council Saturday morning when it convenes in all-day session in the lecture room of the Majestic-Annex hotel in Marlin at 10 a.m.
Delegates from 10 or more P.-T.A. organizations over the county expected to attend will be guests at a luncheon given by the Marlin P.T.A. at Majestic-Annex hotel at the noon hour.
Mrs. John Maxwell at Waco, 9th district P.-T.A. president; Miss Lois Souther, Falls county superintendent of schools; and Miss Onah Jacks, county demonstration agent, will make talks and P.T.A. songs and instrumental musical selections will be given.
ALL TEACHERS RE-ELECTED BY MARLIN SCHOOL BOARD
Junior Band Instructor Elected at Regular Session of Trustees
All teachers of the Marlin public school were re-elected at a meeting of the board of trustees Tuesday night.
Ralph Kelly was elected junior band instructor, while City Attorney W. S. Hunnicutt was reappointed to represent the school in delinquent tax matters.
SCHOOL PROGRAM CLOSE MUSIC WEEK OBSERVANCE
School Music Club conclude observan-------is invited ------in recital in the school--------
at four o’clock Thursday – at which prize awards------.
The Musical Club presented a program at assembly exercises of the Marlin Elementary school at nine o’clock this morning and also will provide a program at regular Friday morning chapel exercises of Marlin High school.
